About GEWCT

The Georgia Education Workers’ Compensation Trust is a not-for-profit insurance program owned by the participating members which allows for more cost efficiencies. The GEWCT trustees and the program administrator, Georgia Administrative Services, Inc., understand the uniqueness of school districts and the daily challenges they face including budget and staffing constraints. The GEWCT has a proactive stance on safety training, aggressive claims management and medical cost containment that drive down the frequency of losses, mitigate claim costs and result in decreased experience modification factors and premiums.
